Dr Elena Fadini
MD (Hons), T(GP)
General Practitioner at Steth & Derm Scope
Medicine is a dynamic science: in my daily practice I strive to constantly update my skills and follow the latest evidence-based guidelines to guarantee a service of excellence to my patients.
I have been practicing as a GP for my NHS patients across Camden, Southwark and Tower Hamlets since 2015, fully enjoying London’s multicultural and stimulating environment.
I am a trained Tutor for medical students (Health Education England, 2018) and fully committed to training of junior colleagues.
I am registered with the General Medical Council (GMC).
I trained at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan (Italy) where I obtained a Bachelor Degree in Medicine and Surgery with distinction in 2009, and fully qualified as a General Practitioner in Verona (Italy) in 2014.
During my training years I joined the Vasco da Gama Movement, an international network of young Family Doctors, and took part into the Hippokrates Exchange Programme that gave me the opportunity to observe how General Practice is set in different countries.
In July 2013 I visited a GP surgery in Hammersmith (London): I remained fascinated by its multidisciplinary and lively environment and the overall experience prompted me to plan a career as a GP in the UK.
I had subsequent attachments in Barcelona (Spain) and in Galilee (northern Israel).
I keep fond memories of all these experiences which gave me a valuable insight into the wide range of services available through Primary Care.
I was granted a Diploma in Clinical Ultrasonography in July 2013.
